Who answers when I call?
Your call is routed to an independent restoration provider that serves your part of Menifee. They'll ask what happened, which rooms are affected and your ZIP code, then talk through timing and pricing with you.
Are you a restoration company?
No. We are a referral service. We don't send crews or do any work ourselves. The provider you speak with is an independent business that sets its own prices and terms.
Which parts of Menifee are covered?
All four Menifee ZIP codes: 92584, 92585, 92586, 92587. That includes Sun City, Quail Valley, Romoland, Menifee Lakes, Audie Murphy Ranch, Heritage Lake, Paloma Valley. Water, fire, mold and biohazard referrals are available in every one.
Do you cover Temecula, Murrieta or Perris?
This site and line are set up only for Menifee's ZIP codes. If you're in a neighboring city, please look for a provider that serves your ZIP directly.
What should I do first when I find a leak?
Close the fixture valve or the main shutoff, turn off power to wet rooms if it's safe, take photos and move belongings out of the water. Then call.
Is there a charge to call?
There's no charge from us to call or be connected. Restoration work is priced by the independent provider, who should explain pricing before starting.
How quickly can someone come out?
That depends on the provider's availability and the time of day. Many restoration providers handle emergency calls. Ask about timing when you're connected.
Do you handle commercial properties?
This site is focused on homes, condos and rentals in Menifee. Some providers also handle commercial work, so ask on the call.
Can renters call?
Yes. Tell your landlord or property manager right away too, since the owner usually has to authorize repairs. Renters insurance may cover your belongings.
How do I check a contractor's license in California?
Use the California State License Board's license lookup at cslb.ca.gov. For trauma scene cleanup, the California Department of Public Health lists registered practitioners.
Do you have reviews?
We don't publish reviews, because we're a referral service rather than the company doing the work. Ask the provider for references and check their license and insurance.
How long does structural drying take in a Menifee home?
Three to five days of equipment is typical once extraction is done, but water that reached the slab, both floors of a two-story home or the inside of cabinets can take longer. The provider should take readings daily and tell you when materials are back to normal.
Does insurance pay for slab leaks in California?
Many policies pay to access the leak (breaking out flooring or concrete) and for the resulting water damage, but not for replacing the pipe itself, and some cap slab-leak coverage. Check your policy and call your insurer early.
Is storm flooding covered by homeowners insurance?
Water rising from outside is usually excluded without flood insurance. Rain that enters through storm damage to the roof or windows is often covered. Your policy wording decides.
Is a leaking water heater covered by insurance?
Many policies cover the water damage from a sudden failure but not the water heater itself. Damage from a slow, long-term leak is often excluded.
Does homeowners insurance cover sewer backup?
Usually only if you have a water backup or sewer backup endorsement. Check your declarations page. Damage from a sudden overflow inside the home may be handled differently, so ask your insurer.
Does insurance cover mold removal?
Often only when the mold resulted from a covered water loss, and many California policies cap mold coverage. Mold from long-term leaks or humidity is commonly excluded.
Is wildfire smoke damage covered if my house didn't burn?
Often yes, under the fire coverage of a homeowners policy, but documentation matters. Photos, cleaning records and a provider's report of soot and odor help support the claim.
Does homeowners insurance cover biohazard cleanup?
Some policies cover trauma or unattended-death cleanup as part of property damage. Ask your insurer, and ask the provider whether they work with your carrier.
